We went on safari with Kivuko Africa Adventures for 2 weeks. It was an incredible experience!
Paul put together a great programme for us, with lots of game drives and lovely lodges. All our wishes were fulfilled and the communication with him was excellent.
We saw the Big 5 and many other animals. Paul has incredible patience, which is important to see many different animals. We were able to observe the behaviour of the various animals and marvel at nature. Paul also knows so much about the animals and shared this knowledge with us.
I would recommend anyone travelling to Africa to go on safari with Kivuko Africa Adventures.
I will always have fond memories of this trip!
We were 7 people on our safari and spent a two week stay in Kenya. Our guide Paul has planned and organised our trip with a lot of attention to the wishes and needs of each of us. From the arrival at Nairobi airport to the end point in Mombasa we had not a tourist guide but much better: an unforgettable experience on the African continent. Thanks to Paul’s experience and knowledge we learned a lot not only about the animals and wildlife, but also about the Kenyan culture. From what we saw and experienced thanks to Paul, I can only recommend Kivuko for a safari in Kenya.
Paul planned and organized a varied and highly interesting trip for roughly two weeks in September 2024, including all accommodations, taking account of our requirements and wishes. From our arrival at the airport in Nairobi to our departure from Mombasa we were well taken care of. The variety in landscape and animals in the five different national parks/reserves was amazing (Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, Tsavo East). What impressed me deeply is Paul’s love for his job and the animals. I observed other guides who sat in their vehicles disinterested and seemingly bored, while Paul’s enthusiasm radiated out of him and infected us all. He stayed with us throughout the whole trip and shared many interesting stories, both about the animals and life in Kenia generally. We developed a wonderful relationship, and it was tough to say good-bye. Thanks again, Paul! I have already recommended you to a colleague from work who was fascinated by my safari stories… 😊
The Safari was fantastic. The landscape and animals in Kenya are absolutely stunning. Paul has great knowledge about the animals there and a sharp attention to detail. He was enthusiastic in sharing his knowledge with us and explained so much. Paul organized the safari perfectly—from the airport pickup to every hotel and every excursion, everything was perfect. He was always punctual, well-organized, and an incredibly friendly person. My family and I felt very comfortable and safe in Kenya and well taken care of by Paul. It’s clear that Paul loves his job, and above all, he loves the animals and nature. It’s simply amazing to see animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, crocodiles, and many others in real life. Thank you, Paul, for an amazing time and for sharing your expertise!
Dear Paul,
I asked everyone in our group to send you their impressions, but I didn’t write to you myself. I could make excuses and say that I was completely absorbed by work and by the flood damage to our house . But that’s only partly true. The safari was such a profound experience for me, but also for all seven of us who took part, that I realized I still had to reflect before writing you my impressions.
Of course, I could write that Kivuko is the best address for safaris in Kenya (I have already told many people) and that you, Paul, are a wonderful and experienced guide; that during our 12-day safari we were able to observe the big 5 and many, many other large and small wonders of wildlife, the atmospheric African landscapes – in short, everything you would expect from a 5-star safari. That’s all true.
But it was much more. You became our friend. You shared your life with us, the great activities you do alongside your job, the history and present of your people. I still see not only the animals, but also the streets and villages in front of me, the people at the roadside, the simple stalls, the faces of women, men and children. You inspired us about wildlife and about your country because you are passionate about it yourself, and so we didn’t just observe, we felt like we were right in the middle of it.
We came back different than when we left. We matured as a family. Thanks to you, we now have a strong and unique shared experience. And we will keep thinking about the exciting competition among ourselves: Kenya first, Colombia second, Austria…
From the bottom of our hearts: thank you, Paul, for your time, your wisdom, your friendship.
